this is my friend, demetria. better known (at least to mary peyton) as "dee dee". you can see her blog HERE if you don't already read or stalk her. i couldn't find a picture of her and kevin, so you get just her.
so today is wednesday. i got home from church around 7:30 or so. tommy and his step-dad, billy, are over at a lady's house buying us a lawn-mower. the riding kind. he's pretty excited - and that's putting it mildly.
i drive up and there's a red head with a big ole skint area down his left leg riding around my yard on a lawn-mower. it's kevin. demetria's other half. i ask him what he's doing and he never even stops - just responds with a big ole smile "mowin' your yard!". so i call dee dee and ask her - she says the same thing (although she did sound like she'd rather have him home since she was feeding 2 kids and everything....). oh - and she did tell me that the place on his leg is where he slid into 3rd base playing softball!
anyway.............

maybe now we won't be the rednecks on our corner.....although you could have made 1000 clover necklaces in my yard!

you are sooooooooooooowrong for saying that i would have rather had kevin at home!!!! i thought this was a thank-you post??? (which is unneccessary, btw)
kinda funny though that you mentioned his leg. you know i told him that no one slides into 3rd base after they pass 20 and he passed that quite some time ago.
Now that is an awesome neighbor :)
