and for my 260th post....

i thought i'd highlight some friends that i have made strictly through blogging. and i'll even include the "connection" on how we "met". i can't wait to see this list myself! here goes (and it might get kinda long):

alison - she found my blog off of april's and called about a cake. i just got off of the phone with her after a 50 minute conversation (am i kidding, alison?). yep - i can see that we're gonna be friends. i mean really, when you talk to someone for the first time and share stories about planning when your children were going to be born? friends. **by the way - this is the newest blog i've added**

april - o.k. so now i know her (we're in a bunko group), but i've been stalking her blog forever. see, her sister-in-law, kim, was my room-mate. well, i got one of these "things about you" e-mails one day and it had "sites you visit daily" and kim had april's blog as one of those. it's been me stalking her ever since!

anne elisabeth - we go to church together, but i don't know her all that well. she's got an incredible voice!!!!! and she's friends with some of my other blog friends, so i added her to mine!

cathy - my other "blog friend", jenny, did this swap thing to introduce us to other people. she gave cathy my name and i got and INCREDIBLE box of gifts!!!!! but, to make the world smaller, tommy went to school with cathy and her brother and remembers them from then!

deidra - she is on a forum that i'm on - mississippi moms. she is an incredible lady with a beautiful daughter and an awesome story!

emily - i don't remember how we found each other - i think on mary katherine's blog. but she and her husband stephen both went to JA with tommy.

harper - i think we found each other on mary katherine's blog, too. i made a cake for her precious little girl's birthday! but also, one of her best friends (brittney) lived with a friend of mine, so we may have found each other that way - who knows.....small world....

heather a - i got to her's off of april's, but now she is married to one of tommy's high school friends - and we play bunko together - so i guess we're "officially" not just blog friends anymore....

heather c - ummmm.......i think i found heather's blog on ashley's. heather and her family used to go to church with us and i taught a few of her youngest siblings in mission friends/children's choir!

hillary - i honestly don't know. some rabbit trail. probably mary katherine's, since she seems to know EVERYBODY. but hillary (here we go with the small world again) is friends with the fiance of a friend of our's. got that straight in your head? good.

jenny - sweet, sweet jenny. this is the "stranger" responsible for the cuteness of my blog. she graciously did my headers when we were REALLY strangers! we've actually met a few times now and i frequent her blog often! she is one of the sweetest people and it shows in her smile! oh - and she lives across the street from my other sweet friend, adelle! but i know i found her blog through mary katherine...

kate - i think i went to mary katherine's, then to the england's (i haven't added them, but i check it a lot - she is a 1st cousin of a good friend of mine...), then to kate's. kate was in the same class at washington school as the guy that i dated for a long time, so i recognized her. she is also friends with a few other friends of mine (tiffanie, lee ellen, etc.).

katie - she was the one I sent a box of presents to in our swap with jenny.

lisa - o.k. i got to lisa's from going to mary katherine's, then renee's. i saw the name trotter and since i knew there were trotter's in greenwood (where i'm from), i thought i'd check it out! well - her husband was a few years ahead of me at pillow. i just kept reading. their children are precious!!

mamie - another mary katherine? i noticed the kosko name and knew that there couldn't be tons of them (there are kosko's in greenwood), so i checked. she is married to a guy who was a few years younger than me in school!

melanie - yep - mary katherine. and melanie's husband is a cousin to harper's best friend (brittney). the world is getting smaller.....and smaller.....

mary katherine - finally. i don't know HOW in the world i found her blog!?!?!?!?!?! but obviously without her blog, i would have no blogging friends!!!! she went to school with tommy at JA. i really have met her in person, so i guess we're friends/aquaintences. talented, sweet girl with a beautiful family!!!

renee - mary katherine. o.k. do we see a pattern!?!?!?! renee was a year ahead of tommy at JA. i met her at celebrate southern, too. she has done some work for me and does an AWESOME job!!!!!

sally - ummmmmmm..............she actually found my cake blog and then i added her to my blog. i'm not exactly sure how we found each other!

shea - i think she found me (for a change) from mary katherine's blog. i've done several cakes for her - she is precious!
