dish network.
i'm about sick of it.
we have had our dish for 3 years - since we moved into this house. and in that time period, we've gone through 2 receivers and have had to call numerous times for pay per view charges that were showing up on our bill that we did not do.
last year a repair guy had to come and work on things for me.
well. here we go again. about 3 days ago, we suddenly stopped being able to access some very important channels - noggin, disney channel, tbs, etc., etc. it will either say that it is acquiring satellite signal or that we have to pay and subscribe to that channel.
excuse me?
i pay $65/month to get what we get and now we're not getting it!
then - they want to charge me "between $49 and $99" to get someone out here to fix it.
nope.
we'll just deal with the local channels and pbs.
geez......any suggestions?

Move. There alot of houses for sale down my street. Move in. Get Comcast. Be my new neighbors. I'll bring you brownies.
uhh YEAH! comcast! i made the switch about 3 months ago...so i could get a tivo. LOVE IT!
I HATE Dish-Net. I had it before we moved because Doug insisted on us having it. We it came time to move and cancel it, they gave me the biggest run-around. They kept telling me that Doug was going to have to cancel it because his name was on the account. I-as nicely has I could at the time- told them that I did not think my ex-husband was going to be willing to sit on hold for over thirty minutes to cancel a service that was at my house that I had been paying for for three years. They also told me that if the did not get their "rented" equipment back, they were going to charge out the debit card on file...I told them go ahead-that account does not exsist anymore! :)
