and now, for tonight's post.......

my sweet husband did something great today.

after a hard day (if you want me to talk about it, we've got to be pretty good friends and even then, we're gonna have to really talk - not text or e-mail), my husband ran me a HOT bath and lit my favorite, favorite candle on the edge of the bathtub. he also lit my 2nd favorite candle. and told me to get in the tub while he finished cleaning the kitchen.

hmmmmmmmm...........guess he wants me to take good care of him while he's got a leg up after surgery, huh?

when i go to the alluvian, when treatments are being done, this is the scent that is in the air. my mom gave me the candle for Easter. (thanks, mama!). so now i can take a bath and close my eye and pretend i'm in the Delta.

on another note, the bachelor is kinda frustrating me tonight (and i haven't even texted you about it, ashley!). but, alas, i AM watching. cause i have to be in the know on these things!!! but really - how can you just make out with different girls days on end to find "the one"? i just don't get it.

but - i WILL still watch.

but i still don't like this as much as one tree hill (do you agree, mary katherine?).

oh - and for those who see me reference mary katherine a few posts ago and now in this one - she went to JA with tommy and we found each other blogging. we're now "internet" friends - you can see a link to her blog over to the right.

but anyway, she just tore a ligament (or two?) in one of her knees and also has a love for one tree hill.

another note - junebug feels my pain on this one - a friend of mine is going to nashville to see bon jovi and daughtry. and there's just one thing to say. I. AM. JEALOUS.

there. i said it. i love bon jovi. and have since mrs. thompson's 3rd grade.
