what is wrong with me? nothing. nothing at all.

while in barnes & noble today, which i will explain later, i happened upon these 2 books. don't get me wrong - i didn't necessarily ENJOY the fact that i HAD to read and study them when i was at pillow, but i did like them. so i thought that i would get them and see if i can still understand things - now that i don't have mrs. stansel to help me through them. by the way, she is/was THE MOST awesome english teacher ever. i don't care who you are or where you went. she was the best.

barnes & noble on county line is closing march 18th. the new b & n will open at renaissance on march 19th. so they've got lots of books 40% off. and since i am a b & n member (ummmm.....you, too, junebug???), i get another 10% off. so my canterbury tales book cost me a whopping $1.08 and the scarlet letter was something like $3.21. can't beat it for a classic that mary peyton will even have to study sometime.

i INSTANTLY thought of my friend, ashley. she lived in england for a while during college. i just WISH i could have lived there! i did get to go to england/france when i was in the 10th grade. and would love to go back - if i can drug my husband to get back on a plane for that long of a trip! anyway.....i bought the book. 2 of them. the ony 2 they had. i like finding "happies" like this for people - especially when i know they will like it!

so that's all for now. we've got to get ready to go back to church. i WAS able to stay at b & n for about 2 hours by myself. tommy brought mary peyton home for her nap (we had to go to church in separate cars this a.m. because the choir sang in all 3 services) and i just had "me" time. i love those times - every once in a while!
