and i really don't know why. of course i don't know that it was my FAVORITE, but i can remember wanting to rent it every time we went to the movie store to rent a movie.
i started thinking about this movie again last week when i saw it in the window of blockbuster when we were going in subway. i stopped for a minute and just wanted to run in and rent it.
but here's the kicker - i don't remember a lot about what it was about! i told peggy (who works with me) that savannah was kidnapped or ran away or something like that. sure enough - the amazon review said just that! but it also said that the movie is not recommended for children under 6 yrs old. so is THAT what happened to me? i've always wondered....
(this movie came out when i was 5...)
i might have to rent this soon - just for "old times sake".

this movie was my all time favorite. i have a copy of it my mom got for me on ebay a few years ago and gave it to me for Christmas. i was so excited!!

That is hilarious because I LOVED that movie and could still watch it over and over.

OH, Suzanne!! When I was little, it was my FAVORITE!!! I knew EVERY, SINGLE word....literally. I bet I still do. I would love to get it for my kids. I'm so glad you reminded me about it. It immediately took me back about 25 years!!!! :)

It was my favorite movie too! When I was little I wanted my name to be "Savannah." I remember sitting in my Daddy's lap watching it everytime it came on TV. I named all of my baby dolls "Savannah." For Christmas, years ago when Russell and I started dating, he special ordered me a copy on DVD. How sweet is that? Thanks for bringing back the memories!
