random things that are on my mind....................
~~~i'm glad mary peyton is potty trained. life seems to be easier. {{knock on wood}} we haven't had any accidents. YEA!!!!!!!! but for some reason if we so much as MENTION the word "pullups", she wants one. ummmmmmmmmm - NO! we have to remind her that she is a big girl now and doesn't have to wear "baby" things anymore!
~~~PLEASE, please pray for my sweet friend's mom. jenny and cory - and their family - need our prayers!!! jenny's mom had a bone marrow transplant on the 5th and is in icu now. tomorrow the doctors are going to try to start taking her off of the anti-rejection medicine. please pray that her body will accept this new marrow! their family has so much going on - jenny is pregnant with the first grandchild in june - parker!, jenny's sister (lee ann) is getting married in may, and cory's brother is getting married in june.
~~~another prayer need........please pray for patsy and glen castle. patsy was diagnosed with renal cell carcinoma about a month or so ago. the chemo and radiation has been hard on her and i know she would appreciate our prayers. also - pray for glen as he stands strong for her.
~~~we're going to basketball tournaments this weekend!!!!!!!! yes - this is exciting!!!!!!! this is the district tournament and pillow will be playing today at 1:00. GOOD LUCK, STELLA!!!!!
~~~tomorrow is tommy's 32nd birthday. he's almost as old as demetria - but not quite! hahahahahaha. i guess we'll spend part of the day watching basketball!
~~~we've started a new outing with cory and jenny - besides our usual sunday lunches after church. fridays. 7:30. coldstone. seems to be another date we enjoy with our friends! and mary peyton LOVES it - go figure.
that's all for right now. i'll probably do another post later. but for now i've got to go start working on cakes! and a pound cake for tommy - it won't be as good as ms nan's, but it is his favorite, so i guess i'll do it!
