We're Back!!!

not that anyone ever knew we were gone.....but we've actually been VERY busy!

here's our itinerary since Christmas eve....

Chrismas Eve (Monday):
get up and work on a few cakes....pack......leave for Minter City around 3:00 so we can make it to my home church for the Christmas Eve service at 5:00. go to daddy's to unload some presents. go to susan & paul walker's house for soup/cornbread (SO SO good!!!). go to greenwood for Christmas with the Britt's. leave there late and go by my mama's house. go to daddy's and wait for santa!

Christmas Day (Tuesday):
wake up (as usual) to daddy coming in the room saying HO HO HO! he is such a kid and can't wait to see mary peyton's face on Christmas morning!!! "do" Christmas. go over to Grandmama's in our pj's for a little bit. get dressed. be back at Grandmama's by 1:00 for dinner - EVERYBODY is there. i think it's somewhere in the Bible.....go to mama's around 6:00 to "do" Christmas there. leave there around 9:00. go to the Malouf's to see Stella and the fam. stay 'til around 11:15.

Wednesday:
get up at 4:00 a.m. and leave daddy's house around 4:30 for memphis for my after Christmas shopping (which is presents for next year!!!!!). go to~wolfchase mall, target, barnes & noble, pottery barn outlet, wal-mart. go to greenwood.....shop downtown with stella....pick up mary peyton (she stayed with my mom Christmas night and all day on Wednesday).

Thursday:
get up early to tell daddy bye - he headed out on his harley for key west! go see Grandmama. head in to greenwood. eat at the Blue Parrot (SO SO GOOD!!!). tommy goes hunting with wilson. stella cooked supper for us this night - steak, homemade fries, salad with AWESOME dressing....it was an incredible meal!!!!

Friday:
wake up and decide i want a haircut. call up the lady who cut it forever when i was growing up and she told me to come on in!!! lazy all morning. lunch at kk's deli. go to the pillow/prep games with the Malouf's. ride back from the games with Key, Mary Key, and Stella. eat at papito's. get home around 11:00.

Saturday:
up and ready to go to family reunion on mama's side (11:00-3:00). go to Minter City to take back Tommy's camo and to put up daddy's gun. go to Jill & Adam's house to "do" Christmas with them. head to the Britt's. go eat at the Crystal Grill

Sunday:
get up early and head to Jackson, TN, to Will & Jan's. Holly, Neal, Mac, and South come up for the day, too! stay at Will & Jan's

Monday:
hang out with the Haas'. go eat at the Casey Jones museum. watch football and have our "own" new year's eve party!

Tuesday:
have our "traditional" lunch and hop in the car for the 4 hour drive. meet mama in winona so that we can get another load of stuff that's gotta come back to jackson (i didn't mention that 2 loads were brought on friday when we came for the basketball games - 1 in key's car and 1 in the Malouf's car). FINALLY get back home around 5:00. start baking cakes. take down all Christmas decorations except the lights/trees. go to bed around 11:30

Wednesday:
work 7:15-5:00. church. home at 8:00. bake some more. decorate some. finally go to bed. oh - and i did speak to my husband/child somewhere in the course of the day! =)

Thursday:
5:00 - up to decorate the cakes that i'd been baking. 8:00-5:00 - work. home. pizza inn. SLEEP
