as i sit here typing this, i'm reminded of yet another "favorite" thing - mary peyton kissing me and playing with my hair. no wonder i'm the first one to fall asleep every night!
ONE TREE HILL started back tonight! tommy and i have not missed a single episode. in fact, before it ever aired, we watched them film some of it. we took a vacation to wilmington, north carolina, because dawson's creek was filmed there. the trolley driver told us that the spin-off was being filmed and told us where to go. it was neat to see some of it - even if it was from a car!
and contrary to everybody's "thoughts", mary peyton is NOT named after peyton manning. in fact, the "peyton" in her name comes from the character, peyton, on ONE TREE HILL. i really think we need help.
when we got home today, i beamed with joy when i opened the mailbox. i looked at tommy and told him to guess what had come in. he was right. the january/february 2008 issue of MISSISSIPPI MAGAZINE. the bridal issue. i live for it every year so that i can see all of the beautiful brides. to see the sentimental touches that each of them added to their wedding. and to even look for my friends (i saw you, ashley!!!!).
i go through this once "roughly". it takes about an hour. then i go back and "comb" through the thick magazine. it really doesn't seem like it's been 5 years since we were in it. time flies.

This is so weird. I about posted the exact same thing about the Bridal Register. As many things as I don't understand about the South, I get the Bridal Issue. I understand it. I embrace it.
I use the same routine--1 hour to overview, multiple hours to comb.

i am obsessed with one tree hill and the bridal issue! yesterday was a great day wasn't it?!!?!?
im so bad, that i watched the ENTIRE marathon of one tree hill on new years day on soapnet - of last season so that i would be 'caught up' and be able to start this season fresh! im so excited to look through my MS mag and look at all of the pictures and where they went on their honeymoons!

mary katherine....if you had time, you could meet me and ashley to "review" the magazine! tommy and i are such nerds about one tree hill. complete nerds. and i'm glad you liked the cake - it was one of my FAVORITES! i can't wait to add it to the blog!!!
