we got back from hot springs, arkansas, about 3 hours ago. i'm finally getting caught up on e-mails, blog reading, newspaper reading, caringbridge site reading (sadly, had to add the child of a friend - go over to caringbridge or click HERE to read about ethan), and just played a little.
our trip was great. we did a lot and nothing all at the same time. hard to believe, i know! but chasity and i did a lot while brad and tommy did nothing. o.k. let me take that back. especially for yesterday. they stayed home all day with mary peyton and jude while chasity and i did whatever we wanted. what great husbands!
now it's back to the workplace tomorrow.......is it just me or do weekends fly?????
oh - random thought - i wish i could have seen all of the people out getting the harry potter books. kinda cracks me up. no offense, junebug. but i just don't "get it".
mary peyton is zonked out after a 6 hour ride and NO NAP today. she and i needed a little break from each other - maybe it's a blessing she fell asleep after we got home.
guess i'll go and finish some other stuff. i'll post pictures from the trip after we download them all!
*****BY THE WAY.........one more time, since i didn't do such a good job last time.....most people recommended me putting my pictures on picasa. that way i can retrieve them from there to post on blogs, etc., or to order from snapfish/shutterfly. is this what y'all still think? i've GOT to decide something so that i can get my pictures off of this computer in case we get a new one!!! HELP HELP HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!*****

COME ON!!!!!!! as soon as i told tommy this, he started asking mary peyton "so...you want bryce to live close to us?" to which she replied "bice? kim?" yep...we have all voted and you need a house over here!
Welcome home travelers! Glad you had fun!
Glad you're back.
Also, I read the first Harry Potter book so I could honestly answer questions from parents. I had no idea I would love the story. Rowling really weaved an intricate tale...and you know me...I love books and a good story. And, for me, that's what this was. A good story.
And as far as that midnight party goes...it was really funny. Even adults dressed up in costumes, everyone wearing Harry's black glasses, and so on and so on.
I got my book about 12:20am that night and finished it on Sunday night. Absolutely incredible story.
