i'm really kinda at a loss of what to post when i've done the posts from the previous month. most of you know that i download pictures at the end of each month and when i do, i do a bunch of posts at one time and then i'm done for a while.
well, to be honest, i wish i knew what to post about. i read other blogs and they don't necessarily have pictures to go with each post. but for some reason, i feel like i have to. like i need a picture to be my "security" for my post. know what i mean?
but here are a few things...
1. i lived through the weekend. not just a normal weekend. we had cakes. lots of cakes. we drove to greenwood for a birthday party, then came back here, got mary peyton to tommy's mom, and went to vicksburg. all on saturday.
2. we went to church. in the morning and night. kenn kington was at our church on sunday night. he is SO SO funny. please pray for his daughter, kennedy. her link is to the right under caringbridge...
3. the work week started......monday monday
4. i joined a new bunko group (thanks to kim - april is also a member of this group, as well as a few people that i met who read my blog some...). i'm hoping that my 2 bunko (or Christian craps as tommy likes to call it) groups never overlap.
5. i've listened to mary peyton sing her abc's more times than i know. she doesn't understand to sing at the end "now i know my abc's...next time won't you sing with me". she just hears the "abc" at the end and starts the song all over again. she would be great for singing rounds!
6. i am more proud every day that i have mary peyton as a daughter. she is a blessing from the time she wakes up til the time she falls asleep. even through the hard days - and we have our share - i cannot fathom my life without her. God blessed me beyond measure nearly 26 months ago and i thank Him daily for that sweet blessing.
that's all for now. comments? thoughts? suggestions? snide remarks? (people in our sunday school class will understand those questions...)

Now see? That was a perfectly fine post. You did good.
And I think the ABC song story is really funny. I remember those days (and sometimes even miss them)!
I don't care what you post...I will read pretty much anything. I like stories about serious stuff and funny stuff but I also enjoy a buncha unimportant ramblings about a heck of alotta nothing. (and today you will find exactly that at my very own personal blog)
Anyway. Post pictures when you gottem. Otherwise, just tell us whatever is on your mind. It's all good. B-)
It was so good to finally get to meet the person behind your blog and yummy cakes! I look forward to getting to know you better through bunko! I agree with what you said about Mary Peyton, children are a true blessing! I don't know where I would be today without my precious Mallory! She definitely is my rock!

We are so glad you joined the Dice Divas! YEA!
I am glad that you joined our Bunko group. We have so much fun! That is hilarious what Tommy calls bunko. I enjoyed visiting with you, Tommy and Mary Peyton the other night. She is such a doll!
Have a great rest of the week and have fun on your trip!

It was great meeting you at bunko, and I look forward to you being in the group. It's funny that we both read each other's blogs, but we never really met. Have fun in Hot Springs!

I have honestly never played Bunko-I don't even know what it is...but I love Tommy's description for it!!
Your posts are just fine! I go back and forth about having pictures too..some people post great pictures with every entry-I envy their time and photography skills...sigh.
Mary Peyton is so cute, I miss Laura Grace at that age!!
