yes, yes...it's been a long time since my last post - almost 2 weeks. sorry about that. life is pretty busy right now and when we get home, i am wanting to do things THEN blog, but seem to get too tired and also want to sleep! so sleep comes before blogging!
HOWEVER....i do have to post these pictures. i was off on may 31st because dr. carter was out of town. it gave mary peyton and me some good "hang out" time at home. but the child loves shrek. i mean LOVES shrek! so she wanted a pallet and shrek. here she is watching it....
so that night her daddy and i decided to take her to the movies for the first time ever - to see shrek the third! people told us that we wouldn't be there 30 minutes and that we were wasting our money. well guess what - they were wrong. mary peyton sat in our laps (she went back & forth about 3 times) the entire movie and when it was over, she was confused. she looked at us and said, "gone?". so now i'm ready to take her back!!! don't know what we'll see yet, though.
ALSO.......since you see the lovely (please say that to yourself sarcastically because that is how i mean it) pacifier in the picture on the way to the movies, please PLEASE note that on tuesday, june 5, 2007, at 8:45 p.m. my little girl threw her passy in the garbage!!! all by herself!!! without me asking!!! yea YEA YEA!!!
i rounded up all of the passys in the house and put them in a box - figuring she may want to play with them in a year or so with her baby dolls. we cried for 2 or 3 nights but reminded her that SHE was the one who threw it away - and she knew it. she would look at us and say "passy? gone? garbage?" and we would remind her that she threw it away because she is a big girl!
that's all for now. i've got to get to work on 3 cakes that i'm doing for tomorrow - 1 of them has 4 layers. so neeless to say.......i'm busy! i'll try to post again if i get through with everything!

yay mary peyton for throwing the passy away! glad you guys had fun at the movies! post pictures of your cakes after you make them! i know they will be great!
What did you think of Shrek? I didn't think it was as funny as the previous ones. In fact, I think I MAY have fallen asleep once...but I can't promise.
Also, hooray for the paci in the garbage! I distinctly remember JMatt forgetting his at naptime...and we took advantage and "lost" them all! LouLou was alot harder.
