Today has also been busy. I got up early to finish a birthday cake for a party that was this afternoon, packed Tommy's bag (yes, he can pack it, but I'm a better organizer and we wanted him to only have to take the small "pilot's bag", so he wanted me to do it), got ready for church, had lunch with Tommy and MPB, took Tommy to the airport, went to the birthday party, and finally came home. Mary Peyton is still asleep (naptime is usually 12:30...today it was 3:15).
And I get to see what it's like to be a single mom this week. Tommy is in Atlanta finishing up some classes for his Series 6 license. Don't ask me what all the Series 6 is...all I know is that he can do mutual funds and things like that now.
Mary Peyton wasn't so keen on leaving her Daddy at the airport. She didn't want to quit looking at him when we were trying to leave, then called his name out constantly until we got away from the airport. She definately is a Daddy's girl....part of the time, anyway!
So point being..........if I don't put anything up for the next few days, please forgive me. Time is going to be a precious commodity around this house. So is sleep. The blog may be getting no attention until Tommy gets home!
OH...BIG NEWS THIS WEEK!!!!!! My closest friend growing up, Jill, is having a baby boy Wednesday, March 21!!!!!!!! Jill and her husband, Adam, live in Greenwood where he is a dentist. They also have a little girl, Avery, who is 8 weeks younger than Mary Peyton. SO...I will put pictures of sweet Owen Marshall Hodges on here when he makes his debut and I get a few!!!!!!!
