Our Fun Friday

Today was so much fun! And it's not over yet! This morning I took Mary Peyton and Sara Parker Dane (her mom, Keltie, works with me) to the Natural Science Museum. Afterwards, we went and had a "girl's lunch" at Bon Ami (my FAVORITE place). Then we went to Highland Village to Albriton's and Olde Tyme Commissary!

I had never been to the Natural Science Museum, but now am anxious to go back...maybe even just by myself to look around. Mary Peyton was in awe of everything. Sara Parker had been before, so she kinda guided us through. If you live close by and have not gone, I highly recommend it. Even if you have kids...it's pretty kid friendly!

Bon Ami is hands-down my favorite spot to go for lunch. I've been taking Mary Peyton there since she was about 3 weeks old, so she even knows how to act! We haven't been in in several months, so when we walked in, Henry (one of the waiters) instantly grinned and took us to one of our usual tables. Richard (the manager) came and told me he couldn't believe how big Mary Peyton is getting and that they had missed us. Maybe that's why I like it so much there... We have been so often that they know us and treat us as such. That does make a difference, you know!

Here are a few pictures from our "girl's day". Hope you enjoy!

Mary Peyton sliding down the slide in the preschool room. She loved it in here! And yes, it was cold outside, but not inside. However...my strong-willed child (don't know where she gets that from...haha) would not let me take off her coat!

Sara Parker looking out of the tree. It had steps going up one side, a platform that wrapped around the back, and then the slide was on the other side!

Sara Parker and Mary Peyton looking at the fish. There were tanks everywhere and Mary Peyton was fascinated!

Mary Peyton looking at something...sorry...I can't remember what.
Has anyone noticed that she...aahhhh...is a BOWHEAD! Yes, for the first time ever, she let me put a little bow in her hair. AND she kept it in! That is until she started falling asleep and playing with her hair.

This picture is just for Linda (Tommy's mom). She absolutely hates snakes. But I've never asked how she feels about a snake with 2 heads. It freaked me out just being that close!

The Rehearsal Dinner/Party pictures will be up soon....I promise....
