Cakes or no cakes?

Here is my question...

Most all of you know that I do cakes for people. Birthday cakes. Etc. Etc. I'm even about to do my first groom's cake in a month. Yea! The question is...

Do you think I ought to do a separate blog with just pictures of cakes I've done? Should I come up with a name for it or just call it "Suzanne's Sweets" or "Cakes by Suzanne"? Should I post prices (they are not always the same depending on the cake...I customize so many to match outfits - i.e. Mary Peyton! - or to match invitations)?

I just want to get some feedback before I put a lot of time into downloading pictures, etc. onto a new site. My thought is that this would make it easier for someone to look at cakes I have done in the past and see if there is something similar that they would like.

Please tell me what you think!!!!

Hey
I definitely think you should if you want the business. I am about to inquire on Plain Jane Frames and the site where she sells the stickers for cups etc.. just by looking at your blog. So I think the advertisement would be good!!
Definitely go for it!!

i think you should create a seperate blog. post prices that you charged for the cakes you have made. just state that the price depends on the actual cake.

I think a cake blog is a great idea! Post all your pics but no prices. Or you can post prices on some that are pretty general and would stay pretty consistent.

Also, I didn't know you do cakes. I do cakes a little. My mama taught me. I can do very simple ones, but only for my own kids, nephews and the like. I'd love to sample one of yours!!!

I think that is an awesome idea. Your cakes are so cute, and I'm sure that you could get a bunch more business with it by doing a blog specifically for it. Love you!! Julz
